This pen is themed after Dango, a traditional japanese sweet made from rice cake. Traditional 3-color dango sticks have a specific order and set of colors, meant to create a spring-themed image.
On the top is pink, which represents the cherry blossoms in the trees. In the middle is white, which represents snow on the ground. On the bottom is green, which represents the green grass, waiting below the snow to spring forth.
These tri-coloured pens also feature a resin inlay on the cap which is created by manually carving and filling the resulting cavity with a resin, which then cures before the next layer is carved and filled.
